Ad Astra Consult is a Copenhagen-based consultancy working with growth companies and their investors on the commercial, organisational and operational changes that growth plans depend on.
Ad Astra's starting point is that execution lives or dies on the people and organisational layer, and that this layer is too often run on gut instinct when it should be made explicit.
The work happens on two levels: directly with companies, and across the wider ecosystem, improving the conditions for companies to scale.
Ad Astra comes from the Latin per aspera ad astra, through hardship to the stars, which describes the work well: the hard work that gets a company to its ambitions. It is also a nod to where Ad Astra comes from, as the company was founded by an astrophysicist.

Anne Mette has worked in senior commercial and operational roles across the startup and VC world as well as large corporates.
She was COO at Rockstart, led commercial strategy at TDC NET, and has earlier roles at NKT and Maersk. She holds a Ph.D. in astrophysics.
Alongside client work, Ad Astra works with Danish universities on their innovation, startup and scale-up agendas.
